Borobudur

The largest buddhist temple monument in the word it is not hard to see why this is most visited tourist site in indonesia.The list of the seven wonders of the word has change many times over the year,and often Borobudur has been included. The temple is massive step pyramid structure made from giant stone block, built on a hill surrounded by valleys and hill.

The top of the monument is crowned with a massive bell shaped stupa. Artistically Borobudur represents a melding of Indian monuments and traditional terraced sanctuaries of Indonesia art.
